The Story
When I wade into the cold waters of the Salish Sea and enter into her underwater wilderness, I am continuously captivated by the ever-changing environment and the creatures that make it their home. I use oils, collage, and other materials to invite you into this wild world of translucence, depth, and life. Much of the imagery came from the GoPro footage of my friend and fellow swimmer, Dena Paris.
